Hi, I’m Anna,
an English-speaking registered nutritional therapist (BSc Hons) and founder of NutritionMate, a virtual nutrition service based in Berlin.
My work is rooted in a deep understanding of the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals and families with special needs. I spent five years working closely with children with autism and ADHD and witnessed first-hand the daily struggles around food and mealtimes—picky eating, food aversions, and the meltdowns that often came with them. I also saw the incredible difference it made when we addressed nutrient gaps and used feeding techniques tailored to their unique sensory and emotional needs. Not only did it improve behaviour, mood, and sleep, but it also helped build confidence at mealtimes—for both the children and their parents.
That experience is what led me to specialise in this area. Over time, my work naturally expanded to support adults too—especially those who have been recently diagnosed and are seeking clarity, structure, and strategies to support their health in a neuro-affirming way.
At NutritionMate, I provide evidence-based guidance and practical tools to support:
Parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children and teens — including those with autism, ADHD, selective eating, sensory challenges, or gut issues
Neurodivergent adults — supporting those navigating late diagnoses, mood imbalances, digestive symptoms, or a complex relationship with food
Using a whole-person, food-first approach, I blend nutritional science with behavioural insight to support real-life change. This includes gently guiding sensory exploration to expand food variety, ease mealtime challenges, and nurture a more relaxed relationship with food.
Whether you're an adult working through gut issues or late-diagnosed ADHD, or a parent supporting a child through picky eating or mood swings, I'm here to help you feel more confident, calm, and in control.
